The geopolitical relations between Greece and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are entering a powerful new era.
Securing a historic agreement that reinforces security across the Eastern Mediterranean and the Gulf, Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias and his Emirati counterpart, Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, sealed an unbreakable defense alliance in Athens, placing military technology and cutting-edge innovation at the forefront of their shared geopolitical calculus.
On the occasion of his official visit to Athens, the Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, received today at the Ministry the UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei.
During their meeting, the two sides discussed the enhancement of bilateral defense cooperation, as well as regional and international defense and security issues.

Furthermore, within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement on Foreign Policy and Defense, a Letter of Intent was signed to further strengthen the Strategic Defense Cooperation between Greece and the United Arab Emirates, with a particular emphasis on the field of innovation.
